Notes

The study on the upper right is taken from Viollet's 'Dictionnaire Raisonne', volume 3, page 42, figure 1B, a costume of the late 12th century. The lower right study is also from Viollet, volume 3, page 107, a belt of the 12th century influenced by Byzantine design. The lower left study is also from volume 3, page 16, figure 2, of a 13th century pallium.
