Notes | This ink drawing by Charles Barber, dated 1802, shows a rural scene in Perry Park, Perry Barr, Birmingham. Perry Hall, an Elizabethan gabled mansion with bridge and moat, stood in the grounds. The contents of the hall were sold in 1928 and the building was demolished soon after. The moat became a boating pool in the park until around 1959. | Presented by the Misses Pritt, 1926. |
