Notes | The Soho Manufactory was designed by William Wyatt and built for Matthew Boulton between 1765 - 1767. It included workshops, offices, a showroom for customers, and accommodation for the workforce. Further buildings were added as Boulton branched out into new commercial ventures. Many illustrations of the Manufactory were produced to advertise the range of its products and promote their sale throughout Britain and overseas. | Purchased from Lickey Coins. |
