People who worked in the 'wet' trades, such as breweries wore clogs They insulated the foot from the heat and wet. These clogs were found in the stores at Mitchells & Butlers Ltd at Cape Hill Brewery. They are of the type last used in 1970 in the bottling section or the brewery.
