Notes

C R Belling & Co introduced their first electric heater in 1912. Electricity was still in its infancy and was not only expensive but electric power stations could not support the growing number of users. It was not until the 1930's, when this heater was produced by Servis, that electricity seriously began to compete with gas and coal.
