Sunday 25th May 1952A nice day - in the morning I went along to the old cottages on Flint Green Road which will soon be demolished. The watchman let me go in the end cottage - low rooms, stone floors downstairs. A winding staircase let upstairs tot the bedrooms. The one bedroom must have been rather cold. The from it into the other bedroom would only be 4' 6 inches high. I seem to think there was no fireplace upstairs." An extract from the diaries of Frank Taylor Lockwood.

Presented by Arthur Lockwood and Jean Barnsby.
