Notes

Frank Taylor Lockwood lived in Dalston Road, Acocks Green. He produced many drawings and watercolours of the modern houses that surrounded him.It shows the neatness and uniformity of the inter-war period corporation housing schemes. Interestingly, considering Lockwood's preoccupation with recording architectural change within the city, Dalston Road was itself demolished in March 1994, together with Bramley Road and much of the surrounding housing development.

Presented by Arthur Lockwood and Jean Barnsby.
