Artist:Charles Conder - View biography for Charles Conder

Conder was an accomplished landscape painter. He is better known for the decorative designs, often executed on silk, which seemed to evoke the spirit of 'fin de siecle'. In this work, the relationship between the great Gothic cathedral and the curious figures is unexplained.
